Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. Company Information
The Hello Nabu language learning service ("the Application" or "the Service") is operated by Hello Nabu, a société par actions simplifiée (SAS) registered in France, with its registered office at 25 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, and registered with the RCS of Paris under number 930 062 849.
2. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hello Nabu, our AI-based language learning application.
3. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms, and you agree to comply with them.
4. Service Description
Hello Nabu provides personalized, AI-powered language learning tools accessible via our website (hellonabu.com) and our mobile applications for iOS and Android. Features and content may evolve; we reserve the right to modify, add, or remove functionalities at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes.
5. User Account
Users must be at least 16 years old or have parental or guardian consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Accounts are strictly personal and may not be shared or transferred.
6. Pricing & Payment
All prices and applicable taxes are clearly displayed before payment.
On the web, payments are processed via Stripe. On mobile, payments may be processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. For web subscriptions, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. For mobile subscriptions, cancellation is managed through your App Store or Play Store account settings.
Refunds: once a trial has converted or a paid period has started, payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it (see section 7). Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store follow the refund rules of that store, and refund requests must be made to the store.
We do not store your payment information on our servers.
Free trial: new accounts may be offered a 7-day free trial of Premium. A payment method is required to start it (a card on the web, or your Apple or Google account on mobile). Nothing is charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan you chose (monthly or quarterly, at the price shown before you start) is charged automatically on day 7 and then renews until you cancel. To pay nothing, cancel before day 7: in your account settings on the web, or in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings on mobile. We send a reminder before the trial ends (a notification on mobile, an email on the web), but cancelling in time remains your responsibility.
If you do not keep a subscription after your trial, your Premium access ends and content that needs Premium is locked. Your account, your character and your progress are kept.
7. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers Only)
If you reside in the European Union, you have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of contract conclusion, without giving any reason, as per EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code.
